Axiom Connectivity’s Coding Box enables the real-time coding and channel tuning of tunable DWDM transceivers, minimizing the inventory requirements of stocking spares. With its compact sizing, the new coding solution offers greater portability, allowing operators to make on-the-fly adjustments without the need to carry around bulky tuning equipment. The coding solution provides support for OEM compatible transceivers as well as a wide range of form factors ranging from SFP, SFP+, SFP28, XFP, QSFP+ to QSFP28.

With AXCoder™, Axiom’s cloud coding platform, users can easily configure transceiver compatibilities as well as access/monitor/record system diagnostics and traceability. AXCoder features an intuitive, user-friendly interface for easy coding. The Axiom Connectivity Coding Box is powered by a Mini USB connection and features three transceiver tuning slots based off of the three general form factors supported (SFP, XFP, QSFP).
